Natasha cooks up a storm with new business

Natasha Williamson has now set up her own high end mobile caterers, specialising in fancy variations of a northern favourite.
‘Pies the Limit’ is now available to be hired for parties and events, where Natasha’s shortcrust delicacies are accompanied by mashed potato and a variety of specially infused peas, such as minted garden or spiced with chilli.
The budding businesswoman, who originally hails from the East End of London, has also put emphasis on developing a green business, using wooden cutlery and fully biodegradable or re-usable packaging. Her van has also been converted to run on clean gas as opposed to petrol and appliances that work on rechargeable batteries – meaning no noisy generator.
Natasha said: “I love Blackpool - it’s a great place to live and work. The people here are so friendly and helpful.
“I’ve adopted Blackpool and I hope the Fylde Coast will welcome ‘Pies the Limit’.
“I have spent a lot of time researching the idea - testing it with family, friends and work colleagues and hunted down some of the best pies available and now I’m ready to offer this unique catering option for parties and events.
“The help I’ve had has been great. Blackpool Council’s Get Started team have helped with planning and that’s been a practical and positive influence for me.”
Cllr Mark Smith, Blackpool Council’s Cabinet Member for Business and Economic Development, added: “It’s great to see Natasha getting the support to set up in what is a competitive market.
“Hopefully with our help she’ll be able to make a success of her catering company and I wish her all the best with it.
“88% of the businesses that Get Started has helped in the last two years are still operating and in some cases, doing very well indeed. That’s because businesses can still benefit from our expert advice and support even after they are up and running.”
